Isis Thomas

Isis is a 2021 graduating senior from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She studied at the Alabama School of Fine Arts in Birmingham, Alabama where she discovered her love for modern and contemporary dance. Isis has attended dance intensives with the Mark Morris Dance Group, Point Park University, and Doug Varone and Dancers. She has worked with artists such as Hope Boykin, Micaela Taylor, Sharon Milanese, and has also performed in faculty work choreographed by program Director Karen Reedy and Shaun Boyle Darcy. Isis is also interested in production work including costuming and has worked as a costume shop assistant for the School of Dance and has also worked as a dresser and stage hand for the Center for the Arts performances. She is very grateful for the faculty and opportunities that she has had at George Mason and feels excited for what comes next.
