Suzanne Koucheravy

SUZANNE KOUCHERAVY received a BS in Theater/Dance and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kansas State University.  Since 2003, she has been a faculty member of the Academy of Classical Acting through George Washington University teaching stretch and conditioning, and an adjunct professor at George Mason University Dance Department teaching ballet, Methods of Teaching Dance, and Methods of Teaching Creative Movement.  Ms. Koucheravy has taught extensively throughout the area to include the Maryland Youth Ballet, the Washington Ballet, and the George Washington University developing curriculum for pre professional dancers as well as elite athletes.  Her early dance training was with Edith Royal, the Joffrey Ballet School where she received a full scholarship, American Ballet Theater, and individuals Maggie Black, Marjorie Mussman and Meredith Baylis.  Ms. Koucheravy has performed with DC Dance Theater, the Joffrey Ballet Concert Group, the Classical Ballet of New Jersey, Ballet Tacoma and the Ballet Royal.  After over 25 years of teaching and performing dance, she joined the staff at Body Dynamics as a certified pilates mat practitioner and personal trainer in 2006.
