The mission of Friends of Dance is to support the artistic development of the Dance Department through scholarship funds and enhanced educational and
performance opportunities. Each year the Friends of Dance award a scholarship to an outstanding incoming freshman, and in 2004 awarded its first
Special Recognition award to a continuing dance major.
